職位描述:
PURPOSE
TheAssociateDirector,ImmunoassayOperationsisresponsibleforoperationalmanagement,scientificleadership,andcoordinationofresourcesfortheImmunoassayServicesLaboratory.TheAssociateDirectorinteractswithclients,ProjectLeaders/Managers,andotherstaffmemberstocoordinatetheexecutionoflaboratoryactivitiesandrelatedtasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
AssistindevelopmentofstrategiesandprioritiesintheImmunoassaygroup.
Manageassignedresourcesbyefficientprojectoversightandcommunicationwithstaffmembersandclients.
Providescientificguidanceandfeedbackinthedevelopmentofligandbindingassays.
Communicateworkloadprioritiestoassignedstaff.
Assignpersonnelandequipmentresourcesincoordinationwithotherscientificmanagers.
MayactasProjectManager(and/orProjectLeaderifrequired)forinternalandexternalprojects.
Evaluateperformanceofassignedstaffandprovidefeedbackonareasofpotentialimprovementinqualityandefficiency.
Actasscientificresourcetoincludetraining,assistingintroubleshooting,andparticipationinscientificinitiatives.
RepresentQuintiles’sscientificstrengthatlocalandnationalconferencesandmeetings.
Participateintheevaluationandadaptationofnewtechnologies.
Manage,review,andapprovedataforprojects.
WorktofurtherthescientificcredibilityandtechnicalcapabilitiesofQuintilesbothinternallyandexternally.
SupportHumanResourcespolicyandtimelyadherencetoperformancemanagementguidelinesforallassignedstaff.
Upholdallsafetystandards,disciplineguidelinesandregulatorycompliancerequirements.

MINIMUMREQUIREDEDUCATIONANDEXPERIENCE
Bachelor’sdegreeinChemistryorrelatedfieldwith10years’progressivelyresponsibleandrelevantexperienceincludingexperienceinimmunoassaydevelopment,validationandsampleanalysis;orequivalentcombinationofeducation,trainingandexperienceinabioanalyticallaboratoryenvironment.
PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS
Extensiveuseofface-to-facecommunicationandoccasionaltelephonecommunicationrequiringaccurateperceptionofspeech.
Regularsittingforextendedperiodsoftime.
